Associate Technical Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and documenting requirements.
• Customizing Odoo by creating modules, fields, workflows, and reports to align with specific business processes.
• Writing Python code to develop new features, automate tasks, and implement business logic.
• Managing and optimizing the PostgreSQL database used by Odoo.
• Integrating Odoo with third-party applications for streamlined operations.
• Ensuring that customizations are free of bugs and meet requirements.
• Creating documentation for custom developments.
• Providing ongoing support, addressing technical issues, and optimizing system performance.
• Working closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Keeping up to date with Odoo's latest updates and best practices.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• A strong understanding of Python programming is a must.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks).
• Version Control (Git, Bitbucket).
• In-depth knowledge of the Odoo framework and its various modules.
• Experience in customizing Odoo, creating custom modules, and extending its functionality.
• Understanding of Odoo's technical architecture.

• Having an Odoo Certified Developer certification will be considered an added advantage.
