This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in finance and accounting who can effectively manage various payment processes and financial records. Key Responsibilities:

• Process payment vouchers accurately and initiate payments (cheque or online).
• Post transactions to appropriate P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Maintain advance schedules and ensure timely deductions.
• Ensure timely settlement of all utility bills for the group.
• Update Google Sheets for real-time payment tracking.
• Monitor and process all payables (suppliers, loans, leases, rent) before their due dates.
• Check online bank balances and update relevant reports for cash flow management.
• Ensure proper filing of all financial documents.
• Perform additional finance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Passed GCE A/L in the Commerce Stream.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm or accounts division. Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Preferably partly qualified in AAT, ICA, CMA, or CIMA.
• Experience with processing payments using an ERP system is an advantage.
• Familiar with MS Office and computer literate.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Age below 35 years.
• Preference will be given to those who live in and around Makumbura, Pannipitiya, and have excelled in extracurricular activities.
