Double XL, a pioneering and inclusive fashion brand in Sri Lanka, is seeking a driven and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Dehiwala. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire product lifecycle, from vendor relations and costing to production oversight and quality assurance. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional garments that meet our brand's standards and our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Allocate and onboard vendors; manage vendor documentation and agreements to ensure smooth partnerships.
Finalize costing and order confirmations based on detailed design and tech packs, ensuring profitability and accuracy.
Oversee the entire sample development process, securing timely approvals, and managing pre-production processes efficiently.
Track production progress diligently, conduct essential Quality Control (QC) checks, and ensure timely bulk delivery to meet market demands.
Manage post-production tasks including reconciliation, handling returns, and managing sample inventory.

Requirements:

Proven experience in apparel merchandising or garment production.
Strong coordination and communication skills, essential for liaising with various stakeholders.
Ability to effectively manage timelines and maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the production cycle.
