Area Manager

Role of Lanka Sathosa Ltd:

• Provide products at affordable prices with high quality to a larger consumer community in a respected manner
• Serve as a platform for SMEs to sell their products without hassle
• Connect farmers and traders with minimal restrictions
• Be an organization with a culture driven by the highest integrity, supporting all stakeholders to achieve their objectives, including employees

Job Role:

• Oversee daily operations of multiple Lanka Sathosa outlets, ensuring compliance with standards, effective inventory control, and adherence to health and safety regulations
• Drive sales performance by setting targets, monitoring sales activities, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue
• Lead, train, and motivate store managers and staff to foster performance, service excellence, and growth
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve complaints promptly
• Monitor budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resources to achieve financial goals
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to improve store performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Economics, or Commerce recognized by U.G.C.
• OR passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized Chartered Institute related to the post
• Age between 22 and 45 years

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams

• Must be of excellent moral character

Salary & Benefits:

Salary will be paid subject to Government Circulars

Nature of Appointment:

Permanent Basis with entitlement to EPF and ETF
