Coordinate with the scriptwriter and assist the production crew on the shoot day.
Review scripts to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution.
Meet with the production team to establish the desired feel and look for the video.
Gather and transfer all forms of media (FB, IG, TikTok, YT) into editing software and ensure they are in the correct format.
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Improve video and sound quality using various video software.
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
Create rough and final cuts.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and best practices to maximize efficiency.

Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
Diploma or basic course in video editing.
Hands-on experience in video and audio editing software (Adobe Premiere & After Effects).
Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography.
Ability to understand project outcomes and bring them to life.
Experience in editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions.
Proficiency in creating concept boards and visual representations of planned edits.
Excellent communication skills to understand project scope and implementation.
Knowledge of flying drones, mirrorless camera settings, and shooting on gimbals is an added advantage for a higher salary.
