SriLankan Airlines Ltd, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the 'oneworld' alliance, operates a global network across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia. We are looking for dynamic, vigilant, and disciplined individuals to join our security team as Security Assistants.

As a Security Assistant, you will be a vital part of the airline's aviation security program, ensuring the safety of our passengers, crew, and assets at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

The Role:

• Implement and monitor the airline's aviation security program during duty shifts.
• Assist Security Officers and Senior Security Assistants in ground security operations.
• Handle administrative duties related to day-to-day security tasks.
• Ensure smooth and compliant security operations in a fast-paced airport environment.

Candidate Requirements:

Category 1: Fresh Candidates

• 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits in one sitting (including a credit for English).
• Age: 18 to 25 years (as of 08th Feb 2026).

Category 2: Experienced Armed Forces/Police

• 6 passes at GCE O/L with a pass for English.
• 5 years of service in the Armed Forces or Police.
• Age: Below 35 years (as of 08th Feb 2026).

Category 3: Senior Armed Forces/Police

• 6 passes at GCE O/L including a pass for English.
• 12 years of service in the Armed Forces or Police (Rank of Sergeant or equivalent).
• Age: Below 45 years (as of 08th Feb 2026).

Physical & General Requirements:

• Male: Minimum Height 5'5" (165cm) | Chest 81.3cm (32").
• Female: Minimum Height 5'2" (157.5cm).
• Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
• Employment will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis.
• Influencing in any form will result in immediate disqualification.
