Operations Manager

About Us:

H2O1 is a Singapore-headquartered water engineering company with offices in Sri Lanka. We are a highly regarded solutions provider for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and solid waste management, with a fast-growing customer base.

Job Scope:

• Manage, coordinate, and deliver water and wastewater projects including fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare all project reporting documents such as project plans, commissioning reports, and completion reports.
• Track costs and manage works in accordance with the budget, ensuring profitability while delivering value for money.
• Verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
• Prepare, maintain, and report progress against project schedules.
• Develop project budgets and monitor/control project costs.
• Participate in design reviews, propose improvements, and implement changes.
• Manage junior staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain regular communication with the design team.
• Ensure all personnel receive adequate training and induction for safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Experience in electrical control panel fabrication is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in office software, MS Project or Primavera.
• Good command of English is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
