We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as Head of Credit Card Sales. This role is integral in leading the bank's credit card sales strategy, driving customer acquisition, increasing card usage and activation rates, and managing a high-performance sales team. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the credit card market, customer acquisition channels, and partnership development.

The Job

Develop and execute credit card sales strategies to meet volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
Lead and manage the credit card sales team, including in-house staff, tele-sales, and outsourced vendors.
Drive acquisition through various channels: branches, digital, field, direct sales agents (DSAs), and partnerships.
Identify and launch new customer segments, corporate tie-ups, and co-branded card opportunities.
Monitor card activation, usage, and portfolio profitability metrics and take corrective action where needed.
Collaborate with product, marketing, risk, and operations teams to optimize offerings and processes.
Ensure sales quality, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and customer satisfaction.
Provide regular reporting on performance, market insights, and competitor analysis to senior management.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in credit card sales within the banking or fintech industry.
At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large field sales teams.
Proven track record in driving credit card acquisitions and meeting portfolio KPIs.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent understanding of the credit card ecosystem, trends, and customer behaviors.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
