SENIOR HR OFFICER
Ensure efficient HR operations and maintain high standards across the clinical team.
The Role / Key Responsibilities:
The Senior HR Officer is responsible for assisting the HR Management in core functions like recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance, ensuring efficient HR operations during expansion.
- Oversee the full local payroll process from start to finish.
- Manage local staff onboarding (documentation, inductions) and maintain compliant personnel files.
- Support expat onboarding procedures and assist the HR Manager with expat recruitment activities.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all local positions.
- Take the lead in handling local staff grievances and disciplinaries, ensuring fair, timely resolution.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HR, preferably within a busy or multicultural organisation.
- Confident in payroll administration, grievances, disciplinaries, and maintaining accurate staff records.
- Fluent in Sinhala and English.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and a true team player.
- Passionate about animal welfare and WECare's mission.
