As we continue to expand and enhance our operations, Richard Pieris Finance is seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for technology and a drive to provide excellent IT support within a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist in user account setup and maintenance.
• Respond to technical support calls, resolve issues, or escalate as needed.
• Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Perform basic server room tasks.
• Install and update operating systems, drivers, and business applications.
• Ensure adherence to company's IT policies and security practices.
• Help maintain endpoint security and data backup processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in IT is an advantage but not compulsory.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in an IT career.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Trustworthy with handling sensitive or confidential information.
